.NET compiler API

AFAIK currently there is no way to compile a typescript script, given as a string, from a .NET program (on server side). I'd imagine something like the DotLess compiler: you can use a dll that has the compiler which provides a public API for compiling from TS, e.g.:

var javaScriptString = TypeScriptCompiler.Compile(typeScriptString);

This issue is somehow related.

What do you think?

There is a wrapper for TypeScript in .NET:

Thanks for your answer, looks great! Clever way of solving the issue by running the js compiler :-).
