That's for jQuery 1.8 - and it came from Microsoft originally, that's why I'm asking here.

The current version is supporting 1.9 but since 2.0 has the same API you can consider it fully compatible with 2.0.

The original came from Microsoft, it was for 1.7, but since then me and several other contributors have done probably 30-40 fixes to these definitions, so I highly suggest them over the one that is currently in the TypeScript repo.
