Visual Studio auto compile to AMD module type

Feb 23, 2013 at 7:48 PM
This might be a really stupid question, but is there any way to change the auto compilation of typescript in visual studio to the AMD module type? At command line, it's as easy as adding "--module amd", but I can't seem to find a configuration in Visual Studio for the typescript compiler.

Thanks,
Andrew Gaspar

I don't know about stock VS, but with the Web Essentials extension you can. Plus, it offers a TON of other nice features. I would recommend it.

Awesome! Thanks!

P.S. Whoever the stock extension developers are should add that as an option. Or make the extension open source so I can add it. ;)

I actually already had Web Essentials installed. :P Just wasn't looking in the Web Essentials options.
