TypeScript and Extension SDK tooling

I couldn't find any info on the matter and my tests had only negative results, so I'm posting.

I want to be able to pack a TS declarations file in an Extension SDK that I'm building and reference it in TS source code files in my project that is referencing the SDK. Currently I couldn't find any way to do that - reference paths to ///MYSDK/decl.d.ts don't work.

Since TS is still in its infancy I wouldn't expect that part of the tooling to be immediately available but still, how would you resolve that problem? Are you going to implement this at some point in the TS extension or is this responsibility of VS?

I hope this makes sense,

TypeScript doesn't yet support this, to my knowledge. You could take the compiler source and make the change yourself in how it handles the reference paths and put the extra logic in (until if/when we add it on our side).
