Web Service/WCF TypeScript mapping

Hey I just thought I'd throw an idea out there: It seems to me like it would be very possible to create a WebService/WCF to TypeScript object and event mapping tool.

Much the same way we map to service references in other projects and get a .net client/object library.

I don't really have the time available to create such a tool but I think it would be a great addition to the toolkit.

Just a thought.

This is exactly what I envisioned! Thank you for the heads up!

The JSDL project referenced doesn't seem to be for WCF, unless I'm missing something. Is anyone working on something to generate TypeScript from a WSDL? If not, I may give it a shot, time permitting.

No it's not for WSDL, its for JSON web services... I think implementing a WSDL code generator is very time consuming as it is a very big specification.

These times nobody cares about covering whole specification when implementing dependent stuff. :)
It is a road to nowhere.
