I have reinstalled VS, Reinstalled the TypeScript plugin multiple times but I cannot get TypeScript to work. I see the folder hierarchy in VS but the TS files no longer update my JS files.

Very frustrated programmer, : (

I am using VS 2012 Professional Update 3.

If anyone has any idea what I can do I would be so grateful. This has been a very frustrating day.

Sorry, I must have worded poorly but I am using the official typescript plugin from the typescript website. It worked fine until there was an update to web essentials yesterday and now typescript no longer updates my js files. I have reinstalled the plugin and even visual studio but I just cannot get it back to working.

What does your project file look like?

All .ts files must be wrapped in a <TypeScriptCompile /> tag and the TypeScript targets must be imported... Can you compare the project file of your project and that of an empty TypeScript HTML App.
