Including .js files as part of project for msbuild and msdeploy

We deploy to our servers using msbuild and msdeploy. The problem we run into with typescript is the JS files are not included in the project by default.
So it works fine when we run locally, but when we deploy to our remote servers, the JS files are built but not copied over because they are not part of the project.

Is there any way to get around this? Something stupid we are missing?

Nevermind, I was doing something stupid.
It was answered in this discussion:

Basically I had to move my typescript target in my .csproj file:

<Import Project="$(VSToolsPath)\TypeScript\Microsoft.TypeScript.targets" />

To be above this line right here:

<Import Project="$(VSToolsPath)\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" Condition="'$(VSToolsPath)' != ''" />
