tsi interpreter?

Could TypeScript get an interpreter (tsi)? I'd like to quickly evaluate TypeScript code without having to always compile and run.

Thanks for the suggestion. 

It might take a little hacking, but it should be possible to do this using an existing JS engine and the TS compiler.  You could invoke the TS compiler from the JS engine, and then pass the translated JS to the engine.
